A message from Brittany, Maria and Bill

Hello,

The 2010 racing season has come to an end. It was an eventful season filled with highs and lows

With two races to go, Brittany was sitting 4th in the championship. During the second last race, her drive chain snapped, giving her a last place finish. This dropped her down to 7th in the points.

The next race was the last one of the season and she went out wanting to end the season on a high note.

Brittany started her heat race in 5th position and by lap 3 she had taken the lead and never looked back - getting her 3rd win of the season. This finish started her in 8th place for the 25 lap feature.

On lap 3 she made contact while passing another car. I later found out that this contact bent the rear acle and rim, as well as puncturing the tire. She fought really hard and raced her way up to 3rd at the end with a flat back tire. I have to say that this was the best race I have ever seen her drive.

Brittany ended the season the way she wanted to, on a high note, as well this performance also put her back to 4th overall in the final championship by 4 points.

Our attention now turns to getting the car ready for the 2011 season. Brittany has designed a new look for the car including the paint and the graphics. This will be unveiled at the CTP Racing Experience show in London this winter.

Banquet Awards

In October the annual awards banquet was held in Coldwater. Brittany placed 4th in the championship. She also received 3rd place in the classroom points.

Season Ending

Well another race season has come to an end. With a broken drive chain on the second last race of the season, Brittany entered the championship race in 7th place. She needed some very good finishes that night to get back up to the top.

With a win in the heat race things were starting to look up. With a few quick changes to the car from the last race, she was off to the championship race. On lap 3 an incident ended up damaging the car and she thought that this was just a start to the troubles ahead. With a flat tire, bent axle and broken rim Brittany somehow managed a 3rd place finish in the feature race. This finish was enough to get her back up to 4th in the points. What a way to end the year!
